What is a Requester? What is a Worker?

Requester is a person who needs someone to help completing their task and Worker is someone who completes the Requester’s task.

What is inside your account dashboard?

Everything regarding your account information can be accessed through your dashboard. In there you can see your recent comments, activities, payments, reviews, task alerts and profile.

How do I edit my account information?

You can edit your account information by selecting edit profile in your dashboard.

What if I forget my password?

If you forgot your password, you can reset it by selecting the Forgot Password button inside the Login lightbox.

Is it possible to deactivate/delete my account?

Sorry to hear this. Please let us know how we can keep you here.

If you really want to deactivate your Taskifly account:

  1. Go to Edit Account on your dashboard
  2. Select “Deactivate Account” at the bottom
  3. Enter the required fields and submit it

How to choose a suitable Requester or Worker?

We recommend you assess potential users by viewing their profiles pages, verifications, reviews and completion rates. This will give you a better understanding of the potential user who you want to work with.

You may also use task comment box to leave a question or comment for further detail about the post.

Posts & Offers

How do I know how much to pay?

Depends on the difficulty of the task. Taskifly is an open marketplace and it allows you to freely set how much to pay, but there is a minimum required amount of $5.

What are the requirements of posting?

Your post must be legal under the provincial and federal law of Canada. Please review the Posting Policy and Prohibited List.

We are here to provide a safe marketplace community for everyone to use.

How can I view posts that I made offer/request on?

You can view all your offers and requests by going into your account dashboard. On your dashboard, you can select my activities and you will be able to see all offers and requests.

How can I refer a task/service to a friend?

You can simply refer a task or service to a friend by selecting the share button in the post by different social medias including Facebook, Google+, LinkedIn or Twitter.

You may also refer a friend about Taskifly under your dashboard by selecting Refer a Friend button.

Is there an expiration date for tasks/services?

A task/service expires in 45 days starting on the date it has been posted and will be removed thereafter. Don’t worry! You can always view your task history by going into your dashboard. Simply by selecting the edit button within your expired task, this allows you to edit/repost your task. Once you reposted a task, your task will be on the top of the browse task list.

Can I complete tasks in other cities?

Yes, as long as you adhere to local laws and regulations.

Communication

How do I contact my Requester or Worker?

During the offering or requesting stage, Requesters and Workers can ask questions through the comment box within the post.

After accepting the offer or request, both the Requester and Worker can finalize details through our private messaging system.

What should I do if a Requester or Worker is not responding to my messages?

If you haven’t already done so, we suggest you contact the user via private message system for an update and allow them at least 24 hours to respond.

If there is no response, please reach out to our customer support team and we will review on a case by case basis. All decision made by Taskifly are deemed final.

What is Task Alert?

You may receive task alert notification through email if you have selected what kind of tasks you want to be notified by once a new task has been posted.

In your dashboard, select “Task alerts” and choose what kind of task post notification you want to receive.

Changes & Cancellation

How do I reschedule my booking?

If you want to reschedule your booking with your Requester or Worker, you may contact them directly through our private messaging system.

How do I cancel my post?

If you want to cancel your post before accepting an offer or request, you can select the delete button inside your post without affecting your completion rates.

However, if you want to cancel your post after accepting an offer or request, you must select I have a dispute. You will need to explain in full detail as of why you want to cancel your post. Our customer support team will review on a case by case basis to see if the cancellation should affect your completion rates.

We highly recommend you rescheduling your booking instead of cancelling a post because it might affect your completion rates.

How to request a refund for electronic payment?

Sorry to hear this! If you are not satisfied by your Worker, you can select the I have dispute button within your post and provide full detail as of why you request a refund.

We will get in touch with you and your Worker to try and solve the problem as soon as we can. We will only issue refunds on a case by case basis.

What happens if one party does not show up?

We are very sorry to hear this! Please contact our customer support team and we will investigate further. If no satisfactory responses are received, we will issue a warning to the party not showing up. Once they received 2 warnings, their account will be permanently banned on Taskifly.

In any circumstances, Taskifly’s decision will be deemed final.

Am I still liable to pay if the assigned Worker does not show up?

If the assigned Worker does not show up, please reach out to our customer support team and we will review on a case by case basis. All decision made by Taskifly are deemed final.

Payments & Fees

I was charged a fee when receiving online payment?

Like all e-transaction platforms, there is always a small amount of service fee. When Worker receives their payment from their Requester, there will be a 5% charge deducted from the Requester’s payment to pay for Stripe transaction cost.

When will I receive my payment as a Worker?

If the Requester selected credit card as payment method, usually it takes Stripe to send you your payments within 14 business days.

If the Requester selected cash as payment method, you should be able to receive your payment upon completing your task.

What are the payment methods?

Requester and Worker may choose which method they want to pay with or receive during the posting stage. Either you may choose by cash or by electronic.

How can I add/delete my credit card?

Under your dashboard, there is apayment sectionwhere you can modify your credit card information. You can add, set default or delete any of your credit cards.

How do I release my electronic payment as a Requester?

After your worker has completed your task, you can simply select “Pay and Review” to release your electronic payment to them.

I was charged incorrectly, what do i do?

We apologize for the mix-up. If there is a mistake, please reach out to our customer support team and we will help you sort it out.

How do I check my payment history?

You can check your payment history under Payments in dashboard or login to your Stripe account.

You will also receive an email from Stripe for every electronic transaction receive.

 

Safety & Privacy

Are my payments information protected?

We do our best to protect ALL of your personal information. We have our customer support team standing by 7 days a week to secure and provide assistance if anything happens.

What do you do with my information?

Don’t worry! We only use your information to process electronic payment if you have selected it in your posting journey.

Ratings and Reviews (Badges)

What is Completion Rate?

The completion rate measures how reliable and committed you are. Every user has two sets of completion rates: One for the percentage of tasks completed as a Worker, and the other for the percentage of tasks completed as a Requester.

A high completion rate shows that you are very reliable and able to get tasks/services completed. A low completion rate means you are frequently cancelling tasks/services.

How to give a review to a Requester or Worker?

Once the task or service is completed, Requester or Worker can give their feedback to each other.

What are Verification Badges?

We have two verification badges that users can use to verify. One is for your phone number and the other one is for your credit card. Once you input any one of them, you will receive a verification badge.

The use of a verification badge is for other users to see how established and trustworthy you are.

What are the skills on my profile?

You may endorse yourself with skills that you are good at. Just simply go to Edit Profile and add it in yourself.

You may also endorse other users’ skills if you think they are good at.
